Our Land

Polcenigo is a small portion of land situated between the river heads of the Livenza and the “Santissima” headsprings, comprising unique locations that preserve the charm of a territory which, on 19th century maps, was called the “Livenza lake”. It is situated below the Cansiglio forest with sinkholes scattered all over a still uncontaminated land.

Aurum Julii, the essence of Saffron, was born on this land facing the south-east that has always cultivated Saffron also thanks to its extremely favourable microclimate.
